1979. Aurora, a small girl in the Bavarian Alps, undertakes a mountain trip with her beloved father Valentin to watch a shooting stars spectacle. Aurora wants to photograph the spectacle to show it to her distanced mother Sylvia.
But up in the Alps, something unexpected happens that challenges Aurora's inner world...
Aurora is the psychological drama of a little girl, set against the majestic backdrop of Alpine nature and weather phenomena.
